Crystal Grids

Creating a Crystal grid for the first time can be intimidating, it shouldn't be.  Crystal grids can be a very personal and organic way to power charge your intentions into being while using natural components provided by mother nature.

Start by choosing your intention. Your intention is the heart of your grid. I like to write mine on a piece of paper, fold it up, and place it under the center of my grid, under my "power crystal".

It's always a good idea to focus on your intention as you're cleansing, preparing & creating your grid.

Before you even get to a crystal grid layout you need to decide what goal or intention you are looking to manifest. Choose crystals and stones that are aligned with your intention and that will enhance it. You will need at least one master stone (preferably a point/tower, a Quartz is always a good standby for the center, I recommend always having at least one nice tower/point that is Quartz.  Quartz is a GREAT go-to crystal, powerful and versatile)

Here is a quick summary of the components of the grid.

The "Power Stone" Master Crystal", "Focus stone"  goes in the Center (That is where I place my folded paper with my intention)

Then there are “The Way stones” These stones surround the center stone and help amplify it.  There is no right number here, I use 8 as my number but it can be whatever you are drawn to when completing your grid.

Next are the “Desire Stones” These stones are usually the final group, each stone is powerful on its own, but together in a grid the power is magnified.

You can have as many or as few crystals as you like, some make intricate grids, while others can be quite simple.  I look at them as a form of Art and make it a point to photograph my completed grids before disassembling.

What other Crystals might you use? What do you want to manifest? Here are a few simple ideas to start with.

Abundance: citrine, green aventurine, and pyrite

Love or Passion, Romance: rose quartz, garnet, and carnelian

Peace and Serenity: clear quartz, amethyst, and moonstone.

Focus & Concentration: Fluorite, Sodalite, Hematite

Something else?  All of the above?

Select what you are drawn to, know you will need several of each (I like to work with 8’s, some use more others use less it is up to you).

Cleanse you, your space AND your crystals by burning sage or Palo Santo to clear the energy of your space.

Next decide on the shape that you like best it can be a spiral, a loop, a circle. There are many grid styles out there, many with Geometrics in mind.  I believe you should go with what feels right to you.  Let’s go back to abundance, here is an example.

Abundance: citrine, green aventurine, and pyrite

In this instance

Here is an example of how I would place these

I might put Pyrite at the center, I might surround it with citrine which is a quartz and Quartz is a powerful amplifier of energy. Finally, I would use Green aventurine as it is the go-to stone for financial success.

Once you have your intention begin placing your crystals on the grid, start from the outside of the shape and work your way in keeping your intention in mind as you put your crystals in place. Save the center crystal to be last, right in the center on top of your folded intention.

Next connect and activate your grid. Use a clear quartz to connect the grid by using it as a pointer, start from the outside, and work your way in.

Be sure to more the point over every crystal on the grid and to end in the center.

Some do this as needed, others do it monthly, etc, etc.  There is no right or wrong way, you know what might be needed for you and your house. I think the perfect time to do this is during the Full moon, everything is cleansed and charged up, a fresh start of sorts.  I like to keep mine in place if I can until the new moon, some like to keep it all month, others only for a few days, again it is totally up to you.

Peace ,

Nonna
