Wellbeing: Unpacked
The World Health Organization defines wellness as a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Further, WHO defines mental health as a state of wellbeing in which every individual realizes their own potential. Thus wellness is not just good health, it is thriving. In order to thrive we need to function well in all aspects of our lives.
Wellbeing is about understanding how to balance all your life’s domains. It can be a series of checks, balances and trade offs. Join me as we will unpack wellbeing into understandable pieces. Looking at each piece and learning to work toward balance, to work toward wellbeing.
